The Girls are Up North together. They're having so much fun. I am so tired. Why must this life of leisure take such effort!

We didn't get out of Milwaukee until almost 10:30 last night. Which means that by the time we got to Manitowish Waters, the sun was coming up.

So, today's mostly been about resting and recovery. Since it's been raining all day, that's all good by me.

Did you see that the Girl and I have a new toy? Our tandem kayak is lots of fun, and the whole family can fit in it if we need to. Fortunately, J. gets to ride in her Grandmothers Otter, so Gaia and I have lots of room to ourselves.

Although, I prefer to ride in the front seat, it keeps the back end from being a little too low in the water. Now we know for next time.

Massive Mayfly hatch up north this weekend. If you listen carefully, you can actually hear their wings humming in the air.
