Mac Gripe!

So, I got this Mac. It has a lot of software installed on it, and a lot of software that has been unistalled or removed incorrectly.
How do I clean up my right click "Open With..." Menu on OXS?

Maybe it's not so obvious...

Since you're still running OS X, maybe it isn't as plain as day. Ubuntu works on Intel Macs. Gotta love FOSS.

Oops! This post was inadvertantly aggrigated to the Users Planet. I took the Ubuntu Tag off as soon as I noticed. Sorry.

The thing is, In Ubuntu, I know how to make changes to my context menus. and In Windows its even easier, but how the hell do I fix this in OSX?

In fact there should be no real inconvenience when using the command-line, right? I suppose that Mac OSX command line has all the nice auto completion that we could find in linux?

Seriously I'm not a mac user (though I have an ubuntu theme looking like mac osx's ones). Did you try to reinstall properly the apps and then to uninstall them (if you can)?
