A post in which we consider Facebook as an arbiter of political debate.

So Wisconsin Supreme Court Candidate and suspected turd David Prosser is surprised that someone on the internet called him a turd. I saw it on the TV news, but I assume it's audio from the debate held today at Marquette University. The gist of it is that Prosser's campaign is trying to say that JoAnne Kloppenburg is not playing fair by not censoring the comments posted on her Facebook page.

Hi David. This is the internet. Be greatful that they only called you a turd.

Also, if you happen across the website called "You Tube" you should be aware that some of the comments that get posted in response to the videos are often irrelevant or pointless.

Wait, it's 2011... a Supreme Court Candidate doesn't understand how the Internet works? Yikes....

With the complete

With the complete understanding that I will not be believed, I am the original poster of the growingly infamous "Stop the turd" facebook post. But, If you liked that, do a YouTube search for "Kloppenburg defeats Prosser"

I am ready to believe you.

You, Sir, are a hero to us all.

Just be careful what you say

Even though Facebook seems to be a place where you can have all the freedom to say what you want and to share what you want, I think we should, at least, try to "moderate" what we want to share or say. Remember, if you are pointing a finger on somebody, three fingers are pointing back at you. What you say can backfire at you all in good time.
